The first edition of the CB Expo – Cannabis Business Expo and Conference will take place in Zurich from 11-12 September. Leading companies from Switzerland, the resto of Europe and overseas will be presenting all manner of products relating to CBD, medical cannabis, growing, paraphernalia and services in the modern Stage-One exhibition hall. In the Network Area, exhibitors and business visitors will be able to exchange ideas in a casual setting whereas in the Conference Area, high-caliber speakers will present the latest findings from the worlds of research, politics, product development and trade.

Programm

Covid Info

The world of events has become uncertain since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in spring 2020. The following rules apply to the CB Expo in relation to the Covid situation and other epidemics/pandemics:

Safety first!
The CB Company is taking the Covid situation very seriously and planning the CB Expo 2021 in close collaboration with the relevant responsible authorities. There will be extra wide walkways between the stands, a limited number of people inside, sanitizer dispensers at all the key points.

Implementation
The CB Expo will go ahead if events for min. 500 people per day are permitted. The CB Expo is being planned to accommodate 1000 people per day.

Decision Update 11 August 2021
Based on the current Covid situation, the decision was taken on 11 August 2021 to go ahead with the CB Expo. All guests are requested to respect the protective measures in place and to remain at home in the event of illness.

Cancellation Update 11 August 2021
If the Covid situation worsens before the planned trade fair dates of 11-12 September 2021 and the CB Expo 2021 cannot take place, the fair will be postponed by a year to 10-11 September 2022. All stand and sponsorship contracts will be transferred over to the new date at no additional cost. Cancellation is not permitted. Tickets will remain valid for the new date or can be returned within 30 days of the decision to postpone the event.

Valid protective measures
Admission to the CB Expo is only permitted with a valid Covid certificate which documents either full vaccination, recovery from Covid-19 or a negative test result (PCR: valid for 72 h / antigen: valid for 48 h). Please bring your Covid certificate with you along with valid ID.

If you feel unwell or develop symptoms of illness, we request that you please remain at home.

Covid testing on-site
There is a test center on-site which offers antigen and PCR tests* (for travelers before returning home).
Times: Saturday 10.00 – 14.00, Sunday 09.00 – 12.00

Swiss citizens: The test is free-of-charge. Bring your health insurance card and a valid ID with you.

Foreign citizens are required to pay CHF 50/test.

* PCR tests for returning travelers: if you require a current PCR test in your home country, you can take the test on-site on Sunday between 09.00 and 12.00. The result will be issued to you electronically on Monday 13 September by 15.00. Please take this into account when booking your return flight.

Entry requirements for Switzerland
When travelling from abroad, please check the entry conditions in force with the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) before entering Switzerland:

Quarantine / Travel Bans
If travel is not possible due to quarantine regulations or travel bans, we request that customers contact us as soon as possible to find a solution.

Illness
In the event of illness, exhibitors, sponsors and visitors have the option to transfer their tickets to others from their company. A refund cannot be guaranteed in this case.

Virtual visit
Customers unable to attend the CB Expo in person have the option of purchasing a virtual ticket.
This includes a stream of talks and access to the CannaX event app and enables networking from home.
